After moving to DFW in late 2019, Landon Forgette, the owner of Coral Reef Coffee Co, opened Coral Reef Coffee Co in Dallas. His first day open was March, 1st 2020 and was closed one week later for the Covid-19 pandemic. He worked for months improving his processes, store aesthetic, and recipes for the sauces and syrups used in the drinks. Once he reopened, he built a loyal customer base over the next five years. He realized that the limitations the location placed on him and his employees by the locations new building ownership placed limitations on what he truly wanted to accomplish with Coral Reef Coffee.
